Now it seems he hardly gets a mention on here unless it's people ridiculing him

It seems the likes of Triple G, Kovalev and Maidana have taken his hype away on here

Canelo went from being a BEAST to being called names and now is being accused of ducking Lara etc..

Also its sad how Canelos so called fans jumped shipped, they were never fans to start with, you stick with a boxer through thick and thin.

So sad to see Floyd haters trying to hype up Maidana as a threat to Floyd lmaooo

      When will you kiddys learn.

Dont worry Khan will beat Floyd though
Floyd drained him and fought him when he was green. Canelo would dominate Floyd in 2 years time, easily.

I agree, he had the wrong plan....someone on his team should have given him better advice prior to that fight. Look at the Cotto fight, you bully Floyd around and make him uncomfortable and you stand a better chance.

Where all the hype goes after a fighter loses once.

Matthysse, Broner, Martinez(Murray controversy), Trout, Bute, etc. All these fighters lost their hype, cause loses don't matter and undefeated records mean nothing. Yet, look who the fair weather fans are hyping up now. Two undefeated fighters, Golovkin and Kovalev. It's pathetic. My favorite fighter list stays the same, I am still a Canelo supporter and can't wait til he comes back.

Most of his hype came because people for some reason thought Mayweather would avoid him. When that was no longer the case, that eliminated a large portion of his hype.

He actually did. The hatred for him was inherited because he was a GBP fighter. Anti-GBP fans like to say they hate him because he got his WBC title by beating Matthew Hatton for a vacant title, but the same guys are okay with Pacquiao getting his vacant title by beating Margarito at 150, when Marg wasn't even ranked in the top 10. He was accused of ducking Trout, then after he clearly beat Trout, he was accused of getting a gift decision against Trout.

There has always been this unwarranted hate for Canelo at 23 years old, is very strange. He's fought better fighters than the currently hyped up 30 year olds but he still doesn't get much respect.

those peopel probably weren't alvarez fans. they'd be floyd haters first.

alvarez had very little following on bscene outside of an already built in mexican fanbase.

It went out of the window when he gave a piss poor performance and dropped the ball against Floyd.

                      The CW didn't help either
