    Canelos Hype..Where Did It Go?

Its funny how much Canelos hype has died down on here, before the Floyd fight he was hyped to the rafters on here, Floyd was "allegedly" ducking him, and wouldnt fight him, not even if Canelo offered him a CW. Soon as Floyd said he'd fight him then folks started claiming Canelo will be drained etc..excuse after excuse

Now it seems he hardly gets a mention on here unless it's people ridiculing him

It seems the likes of Triple G, Kovalev and Maidana have taken his hype away on here

Canelo went from being a BEAST to being called names and now is being accused of ducking Lara etc..

Also its sad how Canelos so called fans jumped shipped, they were never fans to start with, you stick with a boxer through thick and thin.

So sad to see Floyd haters trying to hype up Maidana as a threat to Floyd lmaooo

    When will you kiddys learn.

Dont worry Khan will beat Floyd though

Canelo was never ready for floyd , his fans hyped him up and he got beat down . Maidana is no threat what so ever to floyd. He gets beat up an floyd makes him look worse then canelo .

I'd argue most of them werent his fans, they were just Floyd haters jumping on a bandwagon.

Real fans dont turn on their own boxer because of a loss

Canelo was left out to hang dry on here

Anybody who thought Canelo had even the slightest chance of beating Floyd knows absolutely nothing about boxing. Floyd wouldn't fight him if he were a major threat.

Canelo is flat-footed, has average speed, low work rate and bad stamina. His power is overrated too. He was never going to cause Floyd any problems, he's got the wrong skillset.

And who on earth is saying Floyd is ducking Maidana? lol that'd be a walk in the park for Floyd, he'd shut Maidana out with relative ease.

I'll agree that his hype went down but I still see posters here anticipating his return so there's some that didn't leave him out to dry

A lot of his hype was built on him being the guy to dethrone Mayweather and then he got beat convincingly. I thought he did well though considering he's only 23 and was going against an ATG. He can learn from this and still build a great career but maybe not legendary like Chavez.

The Canelo hype will return after he gets another win or two, but what i find funny is how people down play the kid after he lost to Floyd, two different levels and there's no shame in that.

He's got the balls to fight "El Pero" and why is that?

Because he is a real fighter.

Hype is hype but he is a fighter plain and simple.

I have said it for over a year now,,, GBP really rushed the kid,, it was obvious he was a big draw, but if you really watched him and tuned out the hype, you could see he was struggling too look good/great vs gomez, hatton, rhodes, old shane, trout,, A young vargas would have destroyed those caliber of guys.. Canelo only really looked good vs undersized guys like lopez or washed-out fighters like cintron

I thought they did a good move early by keeping him active, and letting him learn his craft, but after the mosely fight they made him less active and targeted the floyd ppv.. They should have kept him fighting every 2-3 months vs the likes of k9, mundine, angulo, spinks, ortiz, and let him learn his craft and build experience. i wouldnt have made floyd his first big ppv, they just should have waited for cotto, and allowed canelo to grow into a ppv star like arum did with cotto, with the shane, zab fights..

Canelo got badly outclassed by a masterboxer, and showed he was nowhere near ready for the big leagues
