Canelo beat Trout the scoring was just horrible which isn't his fault.

Shamefully dominated? That's a bit of an overstatement. Barely getting past trout is much better than miguel cotto did against him.

I think Lara is a better fighter than canelo, but he also got schooled by Molina and went (literally) life and death with angulo.

I don't see why nelo has to fight Lara right after fighting mayweather. Seems like nelo haters are just using lara as a vehicle to hate on him.

How can you call him a duck when he just fought #1 P4P? lol.

I still haven't figured that part out yet; how do duck somebody when you just fought somebody who's better.

The WBC 154 belt is being passed around like a 5 dollar Tijuana hooker. Delahoya > Mayweather > Vernon Forrest (r.i.p) > The Latin Fake Mora > Forrest again > Sergio Martinez > Manny Pacquiao > Canelo > Floyd again > presumingly Canelo again.

Yet it still can't be worse than the IBF 154 belt. While the WBC managed to get some major fights out of it for temporary Title holders, the IBF took their belt into obscurity with Cory Spinks holding it hostage for half a decade, fighting once a year and managing to get rematch after rematch. And the IBF is still a secondary belt for The Money Team charity foundation passing it off to one of their suicidal fighters.

That's Cotto's problem ..... we talking about Lara and Canelo we both know the Mayweather paycheck would make anybody want to fight him maybe he got a reality check after getting that dominated ! Lets face it Lara is too much risk not enough reward for him to take, and that is the truth if Canelo looks better than Lara did against Angulo (which wont be too hard) after Lara looked better than Canelo did against Trout, and CAnelo still dont want non of it are you still gonna defend Canelo ?. And Molina is no chump right now he is a top of the division and most people had it all over the place either a draw lara winning or molina winning so it wasn't a schooling to see a real one refer to the Mayweather vs Canelo fight. :P I would be all for Molina vs LAra 2 because he got some to prove there but then the winners assuming both win have to fight each other no more excuses agreed?

Lara is just the prop Canelo haters are using at the moment. I've watched 2 of the guy's fights and don't see what they saw in him that makes them think he can beat Canelo/Mayweather/GGG/Ward/God...

Wins WBC 154 title against Matthew Hatton, who never fought at 154 before, at a catchweight of 150 pounds. CaneLOL came in overweight at 151 1/2 pounds. WBC doesn't care.

                  Beats 4'11 Alfonzo Gomez.

Beats 700 year old Shane Mosley.

Beats 140 pounder Josesito Lopez who moved up three weight classes in a matter of months.

Wins some kind of WBA belt against Austin Trout, in a bizarre "open scoring" contest in which the judges had Canelo up big early even though it was a razor close fight. No way open scoring effected that fight, right?

Gets massive payday against Mayweather as a result of his "impressive" undefeated record. Loses every second against Floyd.

Gets WBC 154 title shot against Angulo who was just stopped/quit against Lara and previously KO'd by James Kirkland.

The Ring currently has him ranked #1 only behind Floyd, ahead of guys like Lara and Cotto. For what reason's god knows why (well of course we know, Golden Boy).
you do know canelo fought trout and mayweather right? how is that easy? canelo also wanted to fight cotto, williams and kirkland. do you think lara or cotto have a chance of beating canelo? im in no way a canelo fan but some of you guys are just too hard on the ginger boy.....

Assuming canelo fought mayweather for a paycheck (which I don't believe), how does that take away from him stepping up and fighting the #1 p4p fighter in the world? You can't discount his willingness to fight anyone, even if he did it for money. Calling him a duck is simply foolish, he risked his undefeated record and stardom to fight mayweather. Why would he duck a cuban fighter who was fighting on FNF not to long ago? It's way too premature to call him a duck at this point, maybe if 2014 ends and he doesn't fight Lara you can maybe say that. Until then, let the young lion get his tune-up fight in, and let him do him.

Cotto is a diva. He will probably hire a new trainer before the Martinez fight and beat up one of his tios.
