This is the one reason I can't support him. Other than that he seems like a cool , nice guy. I just tend to root for the have-nots , the less fortunate , the underdogs 99% of the time.. It's more satisfying when an underdog wins , I rooted for canelo against Floyd cause he was an underdog. Now I root for angulo

I cant hate on Canelo as he's tried to get some good fighters but s hit has gone wrong. People forget they tried to get P Will and Kirkland on him. Cotto was also supposed to get it. As was Ortrees. I dont hate on him as most 23 year olds dont dare face the kind of guys Canelo has tried to face and HAS faced in Trout and Floyd. It's not his fault people love him. If he was fighting TBAs or something i'd have an issue but guy has been fighting at a good level for a little bit now. He fought some old dudes. Do you not watch boxing? That is literally a recurring theme in boxing history. The younger lion always feasts on old champs.

They said he wouldnt fight Trout or Cotto..he fought the winner. People wanted him vs a big young and strong fighter..not his fault Ortiz lost. They said he wouldnt fight Kirkland, yet he tried and kirkland didnt want it. They said he was too young that they wouldnt feed him to Floyd. They did. They said he'd never fight Angulo..he's got him next. If he beats Angulo the only guy left for the haters to hold on to is Lara who HAS been overlooked but it hasnt been what Canelo has been doing but what Lara is lacking. I cant hate on Nelo, they tried to get him big fights for the last year or two...dude was like 21 trying to step it up major and be gets hate? He fought the second best 154 at the time (Floyd not included) in Trout. Thats normally enough. :/

In all honesty, I give Canelo props for wanting big fights. I remember reading GBP didn't wanna put him in with Trout but he pushed the issue. He's still young but he's never going to be on the top level skill wise. I think if Williams didn't have that horrible accident we may never have been talking about Canelo being a star at all.

Wins WBC 154 title against Matthew Hatton, who never fought at 154 before, at a catchweight of 150 pounds. CaneLOL came in overweight at 151 1/2 pounds. WBC doesn't care.

              Beats 4'11 Alfonzo Gomez.

Beats 700 year old Shane Mosley.

Beats 140 pounder Josesito Lopez who moved up three weight classes in a matter of months.

Wins some kind of WBA belt against Austin Trout, in a bizarre "open scoring" contest in which the judges had Canelo up big early even though it was a razor close fight. No way open scoring effected that fight, right?

Gets massive payday against Mayweather as a result of his "impressive" undefeated record. Loses every second against Floyd.

Gets WBC 154 title shot against Angulo who was just stopped/quit against Lara and previously KO'd by James Kirkland.

The Ring currently has him ranked #1 only behind Floyd, ahead of guys like Lara and Cotto. For what reason's god knows why (well of course we know, Golden Boy).
Hahaha funny post, but true. And Floyd fans believe a victory over Dennis the menace solidified frauds greatness. Canelol is another Wlad-type opponent.

Too much snake envy in this thread. No shame in losing to money may. Beat trout. He will beat angulo and cotto next. Lara can wait in line, he'll get some of that ATG Snake in due time.

That's a lover coming to their snake's defense right there other people may see it (as in everyone else ) like he got shamefully dominated every second by Mayweather barely got past trout and he will duck Lara til the ballz off his snake are old enough to hit the floor.
