I tell you Alvarez Brothers get spoonfed title shots non stop. Let's see this ppv star power Canelo brings that his fans talk about.

While you're right, the same applies to WBO giving Rican boxers shots for doing much less work than others. WBC does it too with Mexicans and others with Americans.

Cotto's PPV isn't all that either without the star dance partners. This is basically Canelo by himself.

Canelo vs. Angulo
Santa Cruz vs. Mijares
Figueroa vs. Alvarez
Arakawa vs. Linares

That's not a bad undercard, but definitely not the best GBP could do. If Mares vs. Gonzalez II replaced Arakawa vs. Linares it would be an excellent card.

I got Canelo by K.O., Santa Cruz by decision, Figueroa by K.O., and Linares by decision.

He had Lara down twice and the fight was on the table when Angulo injured his eye.

Maybe there was a gap in translation but its still lulzy as it implies that somehow El Perro injured his own eye and Lara had nothing to do with it.

Agreed not a bad card but it all depends on the marketing. Luckily there's enough (recent) fistic fury highlights from all the fighters to run on a replay bombardment. Maybe they could make this part of their KO night or whatever they call it.

I don't get how people don't like this fight. 2 good JMW's coming off losses and fighting. This is a good comeback/crossroads fight for both men. It's gonna be a barnburner!
