Cotto's PPV isn't all that either without the star dance partners. This is basically Canelo by himself.

That's not always true about Cotto needing a good dance partner to **** ppv decent numbers. Most of his undercard fights have been ****ty themselves throughout his career but has performed where ppvs needed to be at.

To be fair he is the 3rd established draw ppv and non ppv. Cotto vs Trout did 1.6 million, Canelo vs Trout 1 million on Shotime and that's with Trout coming off a recognizable career win over Cotto.

You'd expect Canelo's number to excced/match but that didn't happen. Also Cotto had HBO's highest rating for last year against a bum. The only reason why Canelos numbers were solid against Mayweather is because they captured the image to casual fans that he could beat Mayweather. Unblemished record, allot of promotion, young hungry fighter and tons of saftey first fights that had made him look as a threat. And he should thank Garcia/Matthysse too.

There's a reason why Canelo wanted the Cotto fight bad but he's not the all eyes on me ppv phenom ppl make him out to be, at least not yet.

Angulo was already paid to take a dive. Fraudanelo will get another gift. Angulo is perfect for the fraud.

It's not a bad fight, but it is going to be on PPV and for that it isn't worth it at all. I would never pay $60 to see ****ing Angulo fight...

Kid might be in trouble if he can't get Angulo outta there. Dude carries power and activity down the stretch, though I am worried about his eye.

Dangerous Angulo...lol. Same guy who just quit against Lara. Canelo is looking for an easy KO with some bleeding so everyone can say "oh he is much better than he was in the Mayweather fight!"

Im riding with Canelo on this one. I think he's got enough pop in his punches to do some serious damage to a fighter that takes lots of hits like Angulo and I think he has enough defense to not get hit as much as Angulo will be getting hit. Canelo by TKO.

Angulo was busting Lara up. If not for getting poked in the eye I think he was on his way to stopping the the Cuban.

He's a live underdog in this fight. Canelo better bring his A game.
