People talk about Broner just throwing more punches in a rematch, but A) that also will tire him out sooner and B) it leaves him open to more power punches from Maidana. I don't see Broner winning a rematch. And I'm not sure where he fits in. 140 and 147 is thick with better fighters than him.

I don´t know why these writers try to sell us lies. Why does he say that Maidana´s win over Broner was a huge upset??? Broner is no big deal. Also, if Broner hets the rematch, Canelo should get a rematch with Floyd. His loss was due to a couple more shots, no KO, and dancing.

Why does he deserve a rematch again? He got dominated and not just dominated but abused violently. There is no need for a rematch. Maidana is simply the superior fighter. You accept that and move on to the next one.

I personally believe someone can come back and avenge his loss. I believe the public is even more attracted by a MM vs Broner 2 at a floyds undercard than MM vs Keith Thurman, simply because the highest form of entertainment is garanteed!!! can you imagine the all access and build up...

It also is very advantages in potential to FMJ, because if his average PPV numbers are very high(considering MM vs Broner 2=undercard) then he will get a very good deal when the pacman fight, bargaining power :-)

If maidana wins twice in a fight a big audience will view and talk about afterwards, he is an even BIGGER PPV draw potentially for FMJ. And Goldenboy Schaefer will prove again that their cards are stacked compared to the TR ones. so many wins if this happens...

Rematch would be interesting. If Broner doesn't get knocked down he could win the fight. The last fight was a lot closer than many casual fans think in terms of how many rounds were actually won by each fighter. Broner has a good shot in a rematch, I'd have it as a 60-40 fight in Maidana's favor, based on the performances of the first fight.

I think Broner has realised that he has been found out and is now saying anything he can to re-build his image.

If the fight was close then maybe he would have some justification asking for the rematch, but it was a UD and he was put down twice.

AB needs to suck it up, and go back to square one with his career. Build a record based on hunger and dedication not hype and trash talk.
