Well I will say this. I give respect to Broner for wanting another rematch, but I highly suggest that he goes another route. How's it gonna be different? If he opens up more, he'll probably just get stopped this time.

Im down for a rematch. Broner was letting his hands go mid to late fight unlike he was earlier. Maidana himself said he started feeling Broners punches and the fight did go the distance. My only problem is that if he gets the rematch , does that basically mean Floyd / Khan?

Broner will get KTFO in the rematch.
Maidana will likely be more well-conditioned in it.
If you get murked by a guy who clearly had stamina issues
in the last fight, what's more by a well-conditioned opponent.

Is a rematch a sure thing?

Outhustled? Dude, you got out everything. Including outboxed.

In a rematch I'd advise Maidana to come a couple of lbs lighter and that might fix the stamina problem. But then again, it worked in the first fight so why fix something thats not broken.

Good point.. Maidana did look gassed in their fight and i think thats the real reason Broner was stalking him.. not cause he let him.. Broner think twice kid...

I agree, Broner was talking so much **** before the fight. He was dismissing Maidana and saying that after he ****ed him up, he'd be moving on to bigger and better things. Problem is, Maidana ****ed HIM up! So now he wants a do-over? Let him prove himself with another welter weight, if he can. With his ego, did he even have a rematch clause?

Maidana should take the rematch if it makes business sense. Schaefer and Haymon will probably throw more money at a rematch than any of the other contenders or champions at 147. Other than Floyd obviously.
