He wanted to unify, avenge losses, and clean his division, and what happened happened. Ghost doesnt want to fight anyone at gb. He started trying to get a pac fight a few months ago I believe. Coming off a loss, he wants to go straight to a Pac fight. He knows TR has no one for him to fight except Bradley, Rios, Jmm, Prov, and Pac. Five fighters. And he wont even have to fight them all to get Pac. I hate this dude. He was trying to fight Floyd even when he was a lw, before he stopped his career, and chased him.
You realize that fighters have a right to fight in any weight division they are comfortable in, right? He didn't "skip" any divison, he chose to move into a division with the most lucrative fights, all of the fighters at 140 can do the same if they so choose. This isn't a video game. Also at WW he had two major wins (at the time, they were big wins, you don't get to rewrite history.) I remember everyone on here talking about how easily Berto would knock Guererro out before Guerrero put that beating on him.
Guerrero has been in boxing at the championship level for over a decade and does nothing but win and win against opposition put in front of him, he losses to Floyd and all of you write him off as some bum. It's ******ed.
Regarding you're last sentence, its called prize fighting. All of these fighters have every right to chance the most lucrative fights for themselves. Anything else would be ******.

The real issue here is GBP is trying to Don King Guerrerro by forcing him to sign a contract to get the Floyd fight. This is boxing slavery and why the Ali Act exists. Fighters back in the day were getting screwed by promoters when they said, "if you wanna fight this guy for the title, you have to sign to our company." This is exactly what happened here and is illegal

And Guerrerro has a good reputation as far as I'm concerned. Hes not someone who makes up a bunch of bull****. If he feels the need to hire a lawyer than it deserved to be looked at.

When this goes to court its - Guerrero KO1 GBP's
Rios? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Man I think Bradley would be too small and weak for Ghost and his hieght and long arms. Bradley can run, but he cant fight a swarmer that tall, and doesnt have the power for Ghost. Now RIOS??? Rios is a SUPERbum. Ghost is a tall tactical boxer who also knows how to walk through shots, brawl, and make small adjustments on the fly. Pac may beat him, but thats a competitive fight. Pac is small as hell and Ghost with his size and swarming, well I wanna see it. Dont lie about Rios destroying anything.

"Richard has gone around saying they offered us multiple fights. That's not true. They made one offer to us, one fight, which for multiple reasons did not comply with the agreement. When we tried to engage them with respect to other fights, they wanted nothing to do with us. They made no offers, had no discussions regarding any other fighters," Zabarauskas said.
And people around here love to believe everything Schaefer says. Especially when it comes to Arum.

I never wrote him off as a bum read my comments. And he didnt deserve a fight with Berto or Aadiyn. Fighters can fight in any weight class, but what type of coward ducks stacked weight classes, then has two fights and all of a sudden you get Mayweather? Anyone could have done that. Khan could have done it a long time ago. But he wanted to actually accomplish something and build his own legacy. Ghost is repeating what he did to get Floyd. Stopping his career, trying to go straight to Pac. Dude is a clown and always wants the easy way. And he can fight so good, its sad how pathetic he is. And I picked him to beat both Floyd and Berto. I didnt predict Floyd to make the adjustment of using crazy footwork to make it look so easy. Floyd had to actually adjust big time in order to beat him.

BTW He does make up stuff. This dude been lying about how many belts he has. He has always been fake. Uses cancer and God to get sympathy votes when he's really a jerk. Shows no sportsmanship to opponents, and was mean to Berto after the fight. He is worse than Margarito as far as being an ass.

Looks like another boxer is sitting on the shelf again, unbelievable the stuff they come up with to get out of legit contracts.

Guerro has a good lawyer there, his case is side by side with Schaefer's there and it's fairly clear Richard is talking bull, and acted badly.

Good for Robert, hope the case is swift, it rightly penalises GBP enough to think twice about doing it again, and he gets a good fight with Top Rank.

Sign a bull**** contract to get a fight and then get out of it? Be my guest, but why make media circus out of it? Guerrero could have kept the title and not get a fight with Mayweather. He chose the easy way of saying yes to a contract knowing he can contest it.

At least Ward and his manager are not asking media to decide who's right.
