And so it begins...that's messed up. He's the mandatory but he's gotta give up shhh to get a fight he's already mandated to have? Boooooyyyyyyy I can't wait for Arum to retire..when him and King are out of the way and there is nobody else left to hate on it'll be Schaeffer. GBP made Floyd rich as fk but it seems it came with a price tag to everyone else. Mofo's can't just be satisfied with getting 20-30% for doing nothing more than a bunch of talking...greedy bastards.

Agree with this. The guy is trying to get out of a reasonable contract on a technicality.

The ******* nation have short memories and love hypocrisy
who said anything about pac fighting this guy. It's obvious Schaefer wants to turn him into a feeder fish now that he lost to floyd.

If he really was only offered 1(dangerous) opponent for a lowball paycheck, he has every right to look out for himself. As important as it is for these fighters to take tough fights, it is also in their interest to make money and provide for their future and their family. Robert Guerrero's wife has battled cancer multiple times, you have any idea how expensive that is?
Bottom line I don't think Robert is afraid to fight anyone, but he expects to be paid accordingly, and he should: the man has more than paid his dues in boxing.

Pacquiao has nothing to do with this but to humor you, Pacquiao destroys his ass. Bradley, Prov and Rios also beat him.

The real issue here is GBP is trying to Don King Guerrerro by forcing him to sign a contract to get the Floyd fight. This is boxing slavery and why the Ali Act exists. Fighters back in the day were getting screwed by promoters when they said, "if you wanna fight this guy for the title, you have to sign to our company." This is exactly what happened here and is illegal

And Guerrerro has a good reputation as far as I'm concerned. Hes not someone who makes up a bunch of bull****. If he feels the need to hire a lawyer than it deserved to be looked at.

When this goes to court its - Guerrero KO1 GBP's

Arum really is a crafty old fox. I can't wait for the wave of hypocrisy to hit Boxingscene. 'But errr... Guerrero had just moved up to welter when he fought Mayweather. The win doesn't count..'

He aint pay no damn dues. He skipped a stacked division, cried to sullimain about cancer, and had to fight two guys to get Floyd and hasnt accomplished anything. Khan could have done that a few years ago. Stopped his whole career, and jumped to ww to get an easy path to a money fight. He wanted to unify, avenge losses, and clean his division, and what happened happened. Ghost doesnt want to fight anyone at gb. He started trying to get a pac fight a few months ago I believe. Coming off a loss, he wants to go straight to a Pac fight. He knows TR has no one for him to fight except Bradley, Rios, Jmm, Prov, and Pac. Five fighters. And he wont even have to fight them all to get Pac. I hate this dude. He was trying to fight Floyd even when he was a lw, before he stopped his career, and chased him.

Guerrero has a good chance against any of the last three mentioned. Hell he even has a decent shot against Pac. Why is this man so criminally underrated on this forum? Cause he got tooled by Floyd looking the best we'd seen him in years?
