Rigo will be the last man standing after everyone else has fallen! His schooling of overrated crybaby Boonito Donaire was legendary!

He has a great personality. I've met him and trained with him down at xtreme in Hialeah when he was still with Rubio. The problem is his english. Any body who's ever met him knows he's a an extremely funny arrogant yet humble guy. It's just well...that it's in spanish. If they allowed him to be himself in Spanish he would be on fire. Just imagine a Spanish speaking mayweather. Minus the talk of money and more of I will kick the shyt out of anybody

2x Olympic Gold medalists and national heroes don't fall into obscurity. They just become CULT CLASSICS.

This is true, of coarse I don't know Rigo, but I've noticed this from several interviews I've seen of him.

He's already pretty unknown. Not much more that can put him on the back burner.

You're making my point actually, because he's nowhere near being a Spanish speaking Mayweather. Rigondeaux may be engaging on a one to one level (personally) but what I'm talking about is marketing a persona, not who he is actually. Mayweather markets a persona, the person we see talking **** and being flashy is a marketing invention and nothing more.

Rigondeaux comes off as very boring to me from a esthetic point of view.

he's already unknown. That Donaire fight should have never been made, too bad Arum is one greedy **** to have made Donaire-Mares, the real fight everyone wanted to see.

No disrespect to Rigo, but lets get real here, even if he did fight a somewhat entertaining style he would still be unknown. For one, he fights in the lower weights, he's Cuban and he can't speak English. He' s a non-entity.
