Will Rigo now fall into obscurity?

I have a terrible feeling that the mythical creature, that is Guillermo Rigondeaux will fall into obscurity.

I seriously can't comprehend anyone that says rigo is boring. The guy boxed donaire to the point he had him running. Agbeko was too afraid to trade, the guy is untouchable. I hope unlike the treatment lara gets, GBP sign him up so then he can give every fighter on their roster a pure beating.

What do you guys think will he fall into obscurity?

His particular fighting style Is not a style that I personally prefer, but there Is no denying his unbelieveable boxing skill and talant. Without a major network like HBO or Showtime for him to gain exposure It will be difficult for him to land big name/big money fights.

I hope that old piece of shit releases Rigo so he can just sign with someone else. He thoroughly out boxed that Doniare hype job and this is the treatment he gets in return?

Hell, Pacquiao vs Rios was more boring than that!

Even though I enjoyed Pac beating Rios to a pulp (every casuals desire). Rigo boxing donaire's head off was so entertaining. And was amongst my few FOTY candidates for 2013.
Even though i disagree with you that donaire was a hype job (that's a whole other discussion).

But like IronMT said Without the big promoter unfortunately rigo's career can't reach the potential he has.

Rigo IMO is the best pure boxer ever.

Each to their own, but nevertheless I agree with you that Rigo's full potential won't be shown without the big fights.

Fighters like Rigo will fall into the shadows, while fighters like Ali Raymi explode from the furnace of hell.

It sucks that people don't appreciate rigo and Lara. They are both very talented boxers

The problem isn't his style, not for true fans of this sport. Rigondeaux's issues are the fact he speaks zero English and appears to have almost no personality. In boxing you have to be able to sell yourself outside the ring as well as inside. he has the inside down to a science but as a fan I feel no other attachment to him, so I can only imagine the casual fan that watches the sport for tantalizing KOs.
