So this is the only way Golovkin can get them huh. Have them lose first and have them crawling back to him... except when it's on the flip side, its Golovkin ducking and not the other guy's fault.

    This is ******.

Fine, strike Mundine. HBO gives Geale/Barker a date to build up for Golovkin, but surprise surprise, but men wanted to fight Sturm afterwards. So Golovkin gets hung out to dry all of last year....nope, not anybody's fault. Murray sit out a long time to get Sturm or the English MW run aroun, not his fault. Geale just sitting out for Sturm, not his fault.
Golovkin staying active, dude is a chicken shit avoiding the guys who said they already won't fight him.
Now Geale is begging for a fight, but ONLY ON HBO! WTF? He turns down a Monaco fight with Golovkin, and people side with Geale? WTF?
Seriously... seriously, you guys look for everything to hate.

Geale turns down Monaco: Oh, well he's just trying to build up the fight, not his fault.
HBO considers other options than Geale: Oh wow! Golovkin ducking Geale! I knew he'd never fight a live body!
    Look how well Geale/Baker did

Kirkland/Tapia got 700k+ on a split card the same night as College Football conference championships.
Of course Kirkland going to get more views than Geale. Geale missed his chance and it's Golovkin's fault somehow.... you guys are ******

No shit but It's Golovkin's fault for HBO not picking Geale.
Even though GOlovkin and his team went to both Murray and Geale and they decided no because they have to "build up" a fight.

Now Murray got sand in his Vagina and Geale crying because he was offered Monaco, not HBO.

Geale was waiting to avenge his loss to Barker (which is what any fighter should want priority over) with his rematch clause, not Sturm.

And who the hell is blaming Golovkin? Quit making up imaginary straw man adversaries.

HBO pisses me off sometimes. You are a network not a promotion. You cover fights you don't make them. This is just as frustrating as HBO kissing their fighters butts through out the broadcast. Kirkland-GGG is a decent fight but Geale-GGG is better at this point. Two top 10 Middleweights is always better then a Junior Middleweight and Middleweight meating up.

Can understand HBO Golovkin vs Geale is a complete mismatch. Geale has zero punching power.......easy payday for GGG.

Geale has had a long road beating German fiters in their country where you KO ppl to get draws, so what if he wanted to secure his futrue plus settle the score with Mundine cuz that fite was a big deal down in Aus. There is a world outside of North America.

Also now that he is here ready to go why isnt HBO letting it happen? Also whats the guarantee HBO wouldnt have blocked it then either?

At the very least Geale is a top 10 Middleweight and a former champ. Those facts about Geale already makes him a better fight. People say he hasn't fought anyone. So he might as well add a top middleweight to his resume. As opposed to a Junior Middleweight that has not been active, has a suspect chin, and hasn't even fought at Middleweight.

the one thing that stood out to me in this article was how he said at the end hbo would been very happy with this is the past. shows the networks really are trying to put on better fights to compete now
