Yes, accepting $2 million for Mundine over probably $300K for Golovkin is a huge duck.

I won't be impressed, just another fight to make Golovkin shine. I like GGG but time to turn it up some.

Yup no stamina, chin check suspect, mud walking dead weight legs all out guns blazing 4 rounder Kirkland.

        Why?

I think HBO only want Kirkland because he's from the US so the audience knows him better. Kirkland with questionable punch resistance fighting at a division above is not going to last in the ring with Golovkin.

For what possible reason? The only possible way Kirkland makes it out of the first round is if he runs. Otherwise he gets smoked in the very first round.

Kirkland is like Ruslan, not the most technically skilled but they are both BEASTS in the ring. I have doubts about who the winners will be, but I have NO DOUBT that those 2 fights in one night will be well worth $70.

Kirkland won't be afraid of Golovkin, which I think it's the #1 obstacle in facing the guy. Whether the Ishida fight was fluke is still a coin flip. I'm intrigued by Kirkland-Golovkin in the same way I'm intrigued by Khan-Mayweather.

Wasn't Geale the first choice for Monaco?

Geale took a gamble of landing an HBO date

HBO wants to stick with the Rockem-Sockem Robots format that they have been promoting for the last two years.
