Geale wants Golovkinin April, HBO a little hesitant

I never said he would, but he is tougher for GGG than Kirkland and Ishidas of the world, GGG won't get a highlight reel KO in short rounds. He'll have to work for it and that stops the process of building a KO star. That's what HBO want to do, someone who can be marketed as a one punch KO monster.Comment

Geale has had multiple opportunites to fight GGG already but turned them down due to "business". If HBO chooses Kirkland, too bad, Geale waited around and already got beat by Barker.Comment

Never said golivkin is ducking. What I said is it tells us about him. U can't complain about top mws fighting u if ur fighting jmws. If HBO is pushing Kirkland but will accept geale too, it kinda means golovkin has a bit of leeway. Geake is the fight he needs to take. No excuses.
Kirkland will most likely be the bigger money fight. Who knows Geale? Kirkland has been on HBO numerous times and got more views than Paulie/Zab and every one else on the split card night.
So if that fight offers more money than Geale would because more people in the States would watch it...what then? Everyone was cool with Geale and Murray doign other fights because it was bigger money.....but when Golovkin would do it, it's wrong?
Geale had his chance and now Golovkin haters are pinning what Geale did on Golovkin.....this is such B.S!
It's almost laughable that it's cool for Murray to fake an injury for big money fights and Geale to turn down a fight, but when the choice is HBO's, Golovkin is the bad guy here.... you guys make me laugh!Comment

if HBO is trying to push Golovkin - Kirkland instead of Golovkin - Geale that's disappointing.
As much as I love watching Kirkland, everyone and their mother knows he's going to get ruined by GGG and it would just keep feeding the narrative of GGG fighting 154 lb guys coming up. It's not even like it's something they HAVE to do for ratings. GGG will do big numbers for them no matter who's in there.Comment
