    I don't get GGG sometimes

First he says I want to stay focused on 160. I get that part. You can argue he still has a lot to prove there. Then he says he wants Chavez Jr in the same interview. That's where you loose me. Chavez Jr couldn't make 170 his last fight but GGG wants him? And at the same time he wants no part of Ward.

I think he's got P4P ability. He's already in his 30s. He's already doing great numbers on HBO. Why isn't this dude on the fast track to super stardom? It's time to take the kid gloves off with this dude. I want to see him challenged physically. No more hand picked bums and blown up JMW's.

Everyone wants Chavez. Big pay day.

Meanwhile, ggg needs some English lessons. No offence intended.

I didn't watch the interview. Did he say he wants Chavez Jr. or he wants Chavez Jr at 160?

He was asked if there was 1 fight to make at 160 who would you pick. And he said Chavez Jr because he's a great champion LMAO. He also said the obvious that boxings a business and Chavez has a big name blah blah blah. The same thing that fighters like Floyd, Broner, Cotto, Canelo, and others get called duckers for taking the same type of fights.

He needs to move up to 168. There he can start off with the Abraham's and Stieglitz of the world, who would be a huge step up in competition anyway.

Maybe he was thinking about this

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is coming off a controversial win over the always tough Brian Vera as many felt Vera should’ve been awarded the victory. When I spoke to Chavez immediately after the fight, he informed he did not feel a rematch with Vera was necessary. Things have certainly changed since then as there have been talks of a rematch taking place early next year. Chavez Jr still feels he won the fight convincingly but would be willing to fight a rematch if it would clear any doubt people may have. “Well, if the people want to see that fight, we have to give it to them. But I thought I won the [first] fight. It wasn’t my best performance and I agree with that. I had a year of inactivity and a lot of problems. But I think I got my rhythm and I think a rematch would be good if the people still have doubt. I don’t think there’s doubt but I just didn’t look my best or in the best form” informed Chavez.

Um what is the problem here? Chavez has stated he can make 160. Whether thats true or not who knows. Obviously GGG vs Golovkin is an appealing fight at any weight class.
