Um what is the problem here? Chavez has stated he can make 160. Whether thats true or not who knows. Obviously GGG vs Golovkin is an appealing fight at any weight class.

His last fight he couldn't make 170. Chavez Jr is a cherry pick fight and you know it.

Everyone turns him down so he has to fight guys like Rosado, Macklin and Stevens. Would you rather see GGG vs Chavez or GGG vs fringe contenders like Adama and the likes? No brainer.

First he says I want to stay focused on 160. I get that part. You can argue he still has a lot to prove there. Then he says he wants Chavez Jr in the same interview. That's where you loose me. Chavez Jr couldn't make 170 his last fight but GGG wants him? And at the same time he wants no part of Ward.

I think he's got P4P ability. He's already in his 30s. He's already doing great numbers on HBO. Why isn't this dude on the fast track to super stardom? It's time to take the kid gloves off with this dude. I want to see him challenged physically. No more hand picked bums and blown up JMW's.

I think he is still on the track to stardom. Just not super stardom. His english isn't good enough and his personality isn't dynamic enough.

He can't 'step up' anymore than he has at MW because everyone else is ducking him. And honestly this is just my opinion, but he looks like a blown up JMW himself. He'll probably top out at 168 but he's in no hurry to go there. At some point the guys at MW have to stop ducking and step in there to get dealt with by him.
