I thought they were going to reschedule Abril Linares. I haven't seen much of the Russian but it looks like a decent match on paper. Got to give Abril credit for willing to defend his title abroad.

His pretty skilled. He rarely gets hit flush and he knows how to keep his chin tucked and roll with punches. He also covers his body pretty good too.Originally posted by CubanGuyNYCQuote:

And his skill...and his willingness to clinch. lol
I love watching Abril fight too. He's no Mayweather with that Philly shell but he knows what he's doing. He's what Broner wishes he was.

Not hard to look "beasty" with that type of opposition.Originally posted by King-Quote:

Troyanovskiy is a beast.
Abril better not look past Troyanovsky. He is a devastating body puncher and it will be interesting to see how Abril deals/reacts to the body work.

Same here. Heavily underrated and under-appreciated fighter. His pretty skilled. He rarely gets hit flush and he knows how to keep his chin tucked and roll with punches. He also covers his body pretty good too.

I think Abril is very skilled, but I don't enjoy watching him fight. He does what's necessary to win, which is cool, but it can be hard on the eyes. I think if Rich hit a little harder I'd like watching him more. I wish him success and good luck. He's gonna need it to leave Russia with his belt. His pretty skilled.
