And it's not a few. Plenty of people can travel back and forth.

Not the way Abril apparently does. I have some relatives visiting right now. It's not their first time here, either. But they have to apply for permission to leave the island and wait a considerable amount of time. It's not like they can book on Travelocity and take off. And very few people leave the island legally. Otherwise, you wouldn't have athletes and regular folks risking their lives to get to the U.S. It's true that visiting Cuba, once you've obtained residency or citizenship in the U.S., isn't that tough; but it's another thing altogether to leave Cuba for the U.S. in the first place. Richie's situation is unusual.

I would bet my last dime, that if you faced the same overwhelming numbers, your enthusiasm for Mexican fighters would rocket into space.

I don't think we Cubans think all our fighters are "untouchable" at all. What might make it appear so is that we have very few pros (50-60 worldwide); but the overall level of quality is extremely high. We currently have four current world champions, not including interim champs. That puts us fourth on the list of leading countries, behind the U.S., Japan and Mexico, all countries with populations many times that of Cuba. The few fighters we have are good. At least one is the very best in his division. We are right to support them.
              it was directed to you

you are a guy with reason

You don't just go for a cuban fighter because he is cuban

thats that idiot KOZONE and PRBOXINGCOTTO with pr's

              btw i think canelo/lara is a 50/50 fight

                this guy is a clown.

running and winning by slapping is not passion and no one except you and the other 4 fanboys will watch that ****

Like I said before, its like watching a Baseball team only scoring and winning by bunting the ball instead of trying to hit some home runs....fans want ****.

In your defense Cubans would dominate Baseball IMO..Guys like puig and cespedes coming by the masses? that would be crazy

Dont think im a cuban boxing hater either. I like Rigo and prob was just has happy as you were when he schooled Rigo

I dont like loud mouths like LARA and Abril
