It's not fair, but it is reality. Khan has lost all worth he once had as a Mayweather opponent. PEDerson led to Garcia. Garcia led to Molina and Diaz. Wrong or not, that's what happened.

Khan should have fought Alexander. Win that fight, which I believed he would, and the complaints hold much less weight.
You're underestimating the effect that losing has on an athlete.

Khan never regained the belief he had because he lost and was beaten for strength and stamina by a guy he should have easily beaten. Finding out later isnt the same.

Who else in the Mayweather stakes still has a loss on their record that in any other sport would be an automatic four year ban?

Spot on. The Alexander fight would have made all the difference, that is a fight I feel he would have won.

        Fuckin hell

This is when you know just how much Khan is hated on here when someone begrudges him surviving one extra round on jelly legs before getting knocked out

As if him being stopped in the fourth wasn't enough, Bojangles still burns deep down pure and utter hatred at Kenny Bayless for allowing Khan one extra round before stopping him

So you are now saying Khan is a shell of his former self . If that is the case how can he deserve a Mayweather shot?

            Agreed!

Khan should have and could have beaten Alexander, but this thread isn't really about that.

It's about the fact that this guy was Cheated by a steroid user and that loss derailed his career, so mAybe people should give him a chance and take thAt into consideration since no other contender has had to deal with that.

I don't agree with steroid usage in boxing but I do find it completely overplayed as if they're this miracle drug that is going to completely transform a guy, give him hulk like strength, unlimited stamina, power, an iron chin etc

Lets keep it real at that dose, it simply is not enough to significantly enhance recovery or anything else. For what it would do is no more than what zinc and DAA would do.

It wasn't the steroids. It was Peterson exploiting Khan for having zero inside fighting ability.

Because he was cheated out of it by the worst kind of cheating.

Let him have a go since there's no one else anyway.

Lol, you really wanna go 1-1 science with me ?

I worked on research that led to the carbon isotope ratio test for exogenous testosterone but please, do go on....

If that had been Danny Garcia without any legs and glassy eyes, stumbling around the ring after getting put down hard, I guarantee Kenny Bayless would have stopped the fight.

And I don't know where you're getting the idea that I hate Khan from.

And what does that have to do with Khan deserving the Mayweather fight? You're making my case. It's not fair, but it happened, and Khan has lost all his worth as a Mayweather opponent. He doesn't deserve anything just because he got cheated. Lots of guys get cheated in this sport. What makes Khan special that he can get to fight the biggest name in the sport despite irrelevancy in the ring since 2011?
