Khan deserves Floyd

People go on and on about how Khan hasn't earned a fight with Floyd while the likes of Maidana, Porter and Thurman somehow have, despite having lesser careers.

Now, let's go back to the Khan Peterson fight in Washington, when Khan was prepared to face a guy who had recently drawn with Mayweather opponent Ortiz and was totally and utterly cheated.

Not by bias refereeing and home cooked judging. Although that may have happened. Khan was cheAted by the worst possible kind of cheating. Performance enhancing drugs.

Khans opponent that night was later proven to have been taking a course of banned anabolic steroids.

Not only was Khan cheated that night but he had to reschedule his rematch and was consequently beaten by Garcia who Khan wasn't prepared for and underestimated.

Any honest fair person wouldnt begrudge Khan this chance after all he's been through.

Fair point and I agree maidana doesn't really deserve the fight more then khan. The ultimate problem is that floyd has ran out of credible opponents and to be completely honest, none of those fighters you mentioned deserve to fight floyd.

After that he got knocked out in what should have been 3 rounds instead of 4 and has looked mediocre against average competition. The man doesn't have a relevant win since 2011. He doesn't deserve a Mayweather fight.

Look if Garcia or Bradley wanted then yeh give them the fight but Khans career was derailed by a Blatant drug cheat and its still counted as a loss!!

The bottom line is Khan's last 4 showings have been very very shoddy performances. Regardless of your thoughts about being cheated by Peterson,this does not take away from the fact that he was shown up to have no ability to deal with a pressure fighter or have no inside fighting abilities.
In order to deserve a fight with Mayweather he needs a good win which has some credability such as Garcia,Porter or Maidana. I think people would have a lot more respect for him if he was taking career building moves by taking on real fighters like Porter,Maidana and Garcia rather than whining on how he deserves the lottery win fight right now.

Khan looked great until Peterson and was a candidate to fight Floyd after that fight.

Imagine what having to fight a super human terminator like roided up Peterson would do for you both physically and to to your confidence. Suddenly after years of wins you start to don't yourself.

He beat Maidana already.

Plus beat up on top guys like Paulie, Judah, Koletnik didn't lose a single round to those guys.

I agree with people that say Khan has ****** for a few fights now but I also agree that, lets get real, the people that do deserve a Floyd fight either don't want it or they aren't really pushing for it.

Mayweather-Bradely is one, but there isn't a lot of noise for it really.
Mayweather-Garcia is another but Danny has clearly stated he doesn't want it.
Mayweather-Pacquiao is the most obvious choice, but we all know what is going on with that one...
These are just examples off the top of my head there are probably a few others. I know many people think Khan doesn't deserve the Floyd fight but who else actually does when you think about it?

Nobody deserves. Nobody! Certainly no WBC contenders deserve a shot.

There is no opponent who deserves even a tiny bit of the revenue pie, not even a fixed amount. At this point him giving someone the opportunity at having the opportunity of sharing a ring with him is just beneath him.Floyd just needs to retire because all of this is just a waste of his time.

He needs to go make money placing bets on football games and making public appearances and write a bio book about his illustrious career. He needs to get a commentating gig on the side with a segment where he talk about the upcoming fight and how neither one could beat him if he were still around, with Larry Merchant working right alongside him.
