I don't know what to think about all this though. I might have believed Floyd if this Arum thing had been the reason all along, but they've been trying to make this fight for nearly 5 years now and we've only heard the Arum excuse in the last couple of months.

Then I tell myself "Who does he have more animosity toward, Arum or Oscar?" He and Oscar absolutely loathe each other. I think they wish each other would die in a Paul Walker type crash. But Floyd has no problem making GBP millions of dollars. And I think it's because of one or two reasons. Either, because Arum is "rich, fat, old white guy"... or the more logical reason is... GBP doesn't have Pacquiao in their stable.

If Manny left Arum and signed with GBP or TMT, I guarentee you we'd see Floyd strike up an old feud and refuse to work with that promotional company. Floyd would wipe the floor with Manny... but to believe that Floyd EVER wanted to be in the same ring with Pac is to fool yourself.

This is what Manny can do...

Forget Floyd, leave Arum, find Haymon, and work with GBP in building back up his brand and revenue steam to pay his bills. Garcia, Broner,Matthysse, Ortiz, Maidana, are all lucrative fights Big Rich can make happen and keep Manny out of jail.

You and the rest of his fans should now learn to respect Floyd, because like I've said in the past all he tried to do was school the dude, but you guys did nothing but empower those around Manny with your hate of Floyd to take advantage of him with your blind ass loyalty.

outside of those floyd is the one who fights top ranked fighters at ww or 154..manny is the on fighting 140 fighters or fighters coming off of losses...

          fight pac not con!

Never thought i'd say it but my man's beginning to sound like a bit of a fool!
Floyd really ought to be fighting Pac or even Bradley but seems like he might be facing Con...seems like he's stopped making sense here.
He's bad mouthing Pac like it's his next fight ...maybe trying to build something after a meaningless annihilation of old glass jaw, Floyd thinks we are all fools..hate to say, it's he that sounds the fool here!

This perspective isn't really correct. Because Floyd just pays Golden Boy a flat fee to help. But the bills surrounding the fights, especially when he was with HBO, is paid out of Floyd's pockets. So if let's say a natural disaster happened and the fight doesn't happen, it's Floyd that takes a big loss financially. Whereas, Golden Boy would be shielded from a loss.

The main difference is Arum ripped Floyd off in the past. But today, no promotional company can rip Floyd off, so by default Oscar has never ripped Floyd off. So he has little reason to hate doing business with Oscar, because it cannot happen anyway. Floyd can only rip himself off.

I guess showtime was really putting thhe pressure om floyd to fight pacquiao and he trying to downplay it all by making pac look bad.

                Floyd So Jealous

I just realized something, I know I'm late but Floyd is EXTREMELY JEALOUS... Floyd can't understand why Floyd and American fighter with 310 million Americans and 40 million African Americans sell 1.3 mil PPV on average and Pacquaio a Filipino with only 1.3 million Filipino Americans and 13 million Asian Americans sell 1.1 million PPV on average... Floyd wants endorsements and the people to talk about him like they talk about Pacquiao... Floyd should understand that win lose are draw Pacquiao is an exciting offensive fighter and Floyd is a boring defensive fighter... Most writers and historians know that Sugar Ray Robinson had 19 losses and Marciano was 49-0 (43KOs) and he is not even a Top 10 Heavyweight... Floyd did a masterful job of getting the black non boxing fan to see him as a victim of the white man not understanding the Hip Hop Generation to buy his fights... Look at Floyd's numbers before he was 30 and after 30 when Oscar gave him a stage... Mike Tyson is still the most famous African American fighter under 50, overseas Pacquiao is way more popular and known than Floyd... Manny has nothing bad or negative to say about Floyd but Floyd can't seem to keep Pacquiao's name out his dental... Sign of a jealous-hater...

I get you all don't like Floyd but at the end of the day he's right 100% arum and koncz are getting their money no matter what and most likely can't be held responsible for pacs money issues (legally) you wanna complain about fighters like berto being over paid cause of haymon, but atleast they get to keep their money

he sued him because floyd and his whole damn family tarnished HIS reputation by accusing him of being on steroids.
