We love you Floyd but everything that comes out this dudes mouth is money and business these days...for a guy who is arguably the best of his generation he sure has stopped talking about legacy the last few years...it went from wanting to be the greatest to the richest...well you are the richest now...what's left but legacy? People can argue Arum this and Haymon that but this fight didn't happen because of the promoters..both sides. The two boxers don't get the gravity of the situation but they will once their careers end and there are no new highlights coming in. Once the years pass and the luster of those early career wins fade, the flavor of the belt, the flavor of being champion..when all that's discussed and it lands on the flaws of their careers not fighting each other will be it.

Sturdier stuff? Kid, we all here should know that styles make fights; this is boxing, not wrestling.
Now that's Mister Rogers for you, the land of mother****ing make believe....
Originally posted by FloydvsPac View PostSorry, bro. You're using the triangle theory. You know styles make fights and Floyd avoided serious threats and waited for other big punchers to take them out. At least we can say Broner never did that by facing Maidana. Broner went up 2 weightclasses in the same year at 24 yrs old to face a big puncher like Maidana. Floyd may be smarter about choosing opponents, but Broner deserves more respect than Floyd.

Arum just had too many threats in his stable for Floyd. Floyd was going to fight Manny before Manny was scared of the tests, right? All that not wanting to do business with Arum is bogus. And do I get out?? Are you ****ing kidding me?? Ey fool I live in L A the city with no pity. You get your hand shook and your weapon took. Don't know where you from but with weather like Southern Califas, you're smoking crack if you think I don't get out.

You can quote all you want to on Ellerbe but that worm lost the last credibility he had left in our eyes. You come across like some boxing professor wanna be. Or you are from little Floyd's camp, with all that inside info. Either way, Kimosabe, Floyd is the biggest ducker dodger sucker puncher in the history of the sport that you are claiming to be master of. Keep selling, but no ones buying.
And that's AFTER Pac fans predicted he was slow-footed, and shot, and would get KO'd by Oscar, Mosley, The Tree, Cotto, The ghost, and Canelo,
So sit back and watch Floyd become the greatest to lay on a pair of boxing gloves.

I don't get why Manny's fans are still so ignorant to the reality of Manny's career, they're trying to pretend he isn't sliding and that he didn't get put to sleep two fights ago.

This is my whole problem with people who go out of their way to defend Floyd; it diminishes your opinion to unbiased onlookers (same goes for any fanatic).
I've saw both Floyd & Manny demolish some of the best boxing had to offer, in their own fashion; and as a traditional fan of the sport believed (& still believes) that they should lace 'em up and settle their differences like the two great warriors I believed them to be. And as a traditional fan I could care less if a fighter experienced a brutal loss or if he isn't as sharp as he was in his prime (neither of them are); won't be the first & won't be the last. Naturally you would want to see the greatest fighters of your generation go at it.
Now that in combination with what I said in my last post makes me find it hard to see the logic or reason behind your argument. Anyone who knows & respects the history of boxing would just think you're a fool.
Edit: Castillo arguably bested Floyd in their first fight, Cotto roughed him up, an old Oscar applied pressure that he just barely dealt with, an old Mosley rocked his world .. Let's stop acting like these guys are invincible or untouchable cause they've both been shown to be vulnerable.Last edited by TonitosWay; 01-08-2014, 06:48 AM.

"Quack quack quack, quack quack quack Pacquiao quack quack quack Arum quack quack quack i call the shots quack quack quack PPV NUMBERS quack quack quack..." Blah blah blah... Make the fight happen or shut the **** up and retire with the asterisks *Never fought Pacquiao*
Enough with the Bull**** already.. You're a fighter, your job is to fight. To be the best you have to beat the best and continue to move forward.. You NEVER heard of the true legends
ALI, FOREMAN, LEONARD, HEARNS, DURAN, LEWIS, HOLYFIELD, HOPKINS etc... never duck a fight, they fought the best to prove they are the top guy in the division and the sport...
