Floyd offered Manny $40 million in a suitcase. People keep saying that Manny should have taken it, but he balked bc he thought he was too big for that....
No kidding! If Floyd offered Manny $40 million NOW, then okay. But at the time of that initial offer, it was absurd for a fight that would've generated $200 million. It was either 1) a bogus offer to give him coverage from critics or 2) a ****** business move
All logic points to the former.Comment

Guess even the great Junior Gong won't dare answer the post. Yeah, I figured that would be tough for you guys to answer.

Putting your wonderful analogy aside, Floyd's technical style would be at an advantage w/o steroids against Pacquiao's athletically-dependent aggressive style w/o steroids. I already told you I think Floyd would win but he knows it's not gift-wrapped for him like Khan which is why he is avoiding Manny.Quick scenario:
A chick picks you up at the club, takes you home. Its time to ****. She says you can **** but you have to wear a condom. You say,no I don't want to wear it. She doesn't **** you and goes home.
Did she ask you to wear the condom just to avoid having sex with you? Is it her fault for asking you to wear a condom? Was she scared to **** you? did she take you home just to turn you down? did she know you wouldn't wear a rubber?
I'm interested in your answer.Comment

Does anyone know for absolutely sure he offered Pacquiao $40 million? I mean he says he did, but saying "Hey Pac, face me now for $40 million" on Twitter is not putting it into a 30 page, preliminary contract, presenting it to Arum-Koncz, and giving them two weeks to review it and make any counter-demands/requests.Floyd offered Manny $40 million in a suitcase. I'm not saying he's a liar, but Floyd has a tendency to spout off to interviewers and on social media and then pretend that is official business. The kid still plays in the sandbox.
And you really can't trust anything Ellerbe says, lest we forget that whole "We aren't in talks with HBO" debacle.Comment

Like this one.
Or the other day there was a guy on here asking for celebrity net worth sites because he was researching if Floyd is secretly broke.Originally posted by mrpizza-nd_beerFloyd's popularity is hinged on the promise of a Pac fight. Ever since his return, everything was premised as a tune up fight to a mega clash between two pound for pound stars. Since this fight is not happening anymore, Floyd has become insignificant. So beware of Floyd fans disguised as boxing fans who will continue to talk about a future Pac fight in attempt to bolster Floyd's PPVs. You are being duped. There will be no fight. Floyd never intended one from the beginning. It's best to ignore Floyd and all articles, and comments from Floyd fans and his team. They are merely intended to cause a hype in favor of Floyd. A big dip in Floyd PPV sales would be the immediate desired result.Comment

I am not as interested in who you think will win and why as I am your answer to my post.Putting your wonderful analogy aside, Floyd's technical style would be at an advantage w/o steroids against Pacquiao's athletically-dependent aggressive style w/o steroids. they choose to ignore all other things and only care to see that "oh look floyd made pac an offer". they choose to ignore what the offer is and what pac can possibly make. yes the $40mil is a blessing now but when it was offer pac was still at the top.Floyd offered Manny $40 million in a suitcase.
