MMA fighters are not any more "fighters" than boxers just because they combine various martial arts... It's STILL just another combat sport... Saying a MMA fighter is "more" of a fighter because it's "closer" to a "real" fight is also idiotic because "real" fights have no rules and are by their nature, to the death...Hell, even actual WAR is bound by freakin rules

Also, boxers take more punishment than MMA fights in 12 rounds. There's no going to the ground when you start to take punishment. Also, you could argue that boxing has/will continue to attract the better athletes... When, if ever, will you see a MMA fighter with the speed and overall athleticism of Roy Jones Jr...

I'm die hard boxing for life. i never said mma fighters was more of a fighter than boxers are. but to say floyd is the best FIGHTER in the WORLD is idiotic in itself. look at the competition he's faced in his last few fights and compare that to let's say GSP (I'm not a big fan of his FYI) just using his resume as an example because he done fought the best and and beat the best (although I thought he lost his last fight) in his weight class in his respective sport. he fights who ever they put in front of him with out question or any diva ish antics. same with Jon "Bones" Jones (who is a killer). Floyd on the other hand... do you think he fought the best or is fighting the best? I don't think so. so do you think Floyd's the best FIGHTER in the WORLD?"

Manny's in no position to dictate terms, that's the big take away he should have gotten at this point. He needs to accept whatever is given him by Floyd, I mean he's taken the scraps that Arum's been giving him and he's been dumb enough to believe its equivalent to Floyd. Manny's allowed Arum to take him to the cleaners, so he's flat broke and approaching the end of his career. His last PPV was a death rattle so to speak, so if he has any sense (which is doubtful) he'll shut the **** up and take what's given him, as he has throughout his career.

That is more of a demand and condition by Mayweather. An "OFFER" is something feasible but without even a share in the PPV, it is totally one sided.
