He is the dfending Champ not Cotto, MSG can be for either one of them, Argentinians are a big group in NY just second to Puerto Ricans....either way make it happened and forget all this bs of who's name comes first...The botto line at the end all that matters is who walks with the "W"

Sorry but no, one of them is the Champion, the other one isnt. Simple as that. And its not as if Martinez is some paper champion, he beat up a 20 pound heavier PED pumped Chavez jr. to get his belt. This isnt just buisness its pride as well, it would be humiliating for a champ to allow another boxer to walk all over him like that. Its Martinez-Cotto and the champ comes out after the challenger. Why should it be any different now? Especially in Martinez's situation, he doesnt need to take crap form anyone let alone Cotto. He's good to go for retirement and is looking to make his last big bucks before sticking to his other buisneses. A last fight in Buenos Aires may not be as big as the one in USA but it would still be very profitable for him, no need to go around putting up with Cotto's BS.

kudos, to that. being a cotto fan, i think he should come in and take care of business. i dont see cotto beating any other of the 160 champs. too young too fresh too strong. imo his only chance at 160 title is with martinez, and i still think he loses. i will still root for him.
in being the cash that is going to run this promotion, he should allow martinez to be the champ, martinez-cotto, and let martinez walk in like a champ. so when cotto leaves the ring hopeful they will be saying and new...
