The A-side gets top billing. That's just it, there are zero arguments.

Cotto is a Free agent and is not attached to any network, meaning he has many options to pick from. Martinez is attached to a promoting company and HBO, his list of opponents are limited. I do agree Martinez should walk last and Cotto first, but Martinez and his team have been talking a little too much and are always complaining. If Im Martinez, I'd sign the contract. he really has no other option to fight and make this type much money...He could face GGG But I doubt he's that ******, plus it won't generate half as much as a cotto showdown PR parade weekend in NY will.

LOL These dudes. Specially the nuthuggers.
Tomorrow someone they don't like goes through the same situation as Cotto, they will flip flop it like they always do.

Chavez Jr was the official champion in the fight in the sense that he had the WBC title. Lineal titles aren't physically real.
Martinez is a long reigning champion now, I think he feels he deserves more respect from Austin Trout's leftovers.

Martinez was lineal champion and didn't seem to feel he had to argue with Chavez Jr. Why? Because he wanted to get paid and he knew he'd dominate. He'll get more money here, only thing I can think of is he doesn't like Cotto or he isn't as confident as he sounds.

Besides, unless it's Pacquiao or Mayweather, Cotto isn't the B-side against anyone.
