He deserves the pay day n this type of big fight, so everybody is cool with it. In all reality though, he should be fighting the next best guy in his weight class and that is GGG.
why triple g? he has only beaten one world champion. rubio has actually fought more world champions and higher level competition then GGG. GGG only world champ he has fought is OUMA, he hasnt been tested. how about triple G fights quillen, or geale or even martin murray? why do you guys ride GGG so much? none of you can answer that, why dont you guys ever answer that question???? whats so ****ing special about him?? martinez has fought way better fighters and harder punchers like pavlik for example. even a cruiserweight chavez jr, but you guys ride GGG so hard? answer me why?

Either Martinez will give up the demand for more money or will give up some money to keep the demand. This is called negotiating. The fight will happen either way. It's all just pre-fight hype mumbojumbo.

everyone on this forums talk trash about canelo picking his opponents and this and that and call him a bum, yet triple G actually does the same but everyone rides his balls. canelo has actually fought more champions then golovkin. you guys talk like experts and **** and listen to how hypocritical you guys sound.

I understand the issue, but he needs to be careful not to blow this chance.

Fight will get made. We don't even know for sure if these are the actual issues.

Truth is, there should be no question as to billing order... its Cotto's house and this is a PPV fight because he is on the bill.

I think Cotto should walk 2nd and be introduced 1st to compromise.

Either way these obstacles are lame and need to be cleared quickly to avoid this fight falling through over egos.

I'm not defending Martinez but if Cotto is so determined about winning a fourth world title just pick another champ to take a title from.
                You'd think so right?
What part of "You're not the fking Champ" does Cotto not understand?
Martinez is in it for the money and Cotto is in in for the money too.
Why doesnt Cotto go fight GGG if he's Mr. Big Shot?
He thinks Martinez is too old and has a better chance, he's in for a painful surprise when Maravilla schools his ass.

Why wouldn't Cotto just move back down to 154 if he couldn't get Martinez? I think it's a better business move so he can fight Canelo or even Kirkland.

He wants a MW trinket, if not he would had fought Canelo in March. Kirkland is a nobody that can give Cotto trouble so he aint fighting Kirkland. Canelo, MArtinez FLoyd rematch thats pretty much it for Cotto.
