I don't care if you have a larger following,if you bring in more ppv buys,it doesn't matter,i still think you should show respect, show it to the champ and the sport, cotto is the challenger here, cotto is just beat a bum, lost his fight before beating that bum and he still thinks he should be treated as if he's an undefeated champion,i guess Martinez is fed up with this b/s,he was treated the same way against Williams I think it was,not sure, but he should be treated as the champ, cotto is being ridiculous here

Damn. This really sounds like Sergio has in no intention of fighting Golovkin down the line even. It's a shame for GGG fans such as myself; I was really hoping for a passing of the torch sort of thing. Boxing these days is like Highlander, when you beat someone the Quickening happens and you get their power (in this case a new name on your resume, more fans' respect, clout in negotiations, etc.) I mean, there's 0% doubt GGG KOs him, I just want there to be no doubt left in GGG haters. It's okay though, winning four fights a year will add up quick.
I don't blame Sergio for picking Cotto right now but I don't like when fighters look past who's in front of them and already have a line up planned out. Shoot, I hope Canelo loses to Angulo now.

Exactly Sergio just hyping up a fight that doesn't need to hype up Sergio is downhill and is lucky cotto is giving him a payday

I don't really care but I prefer tradition. Sergio should come out last and be introuduced last. Cotto is being the diva here

Cotto is the money man, who just had the highest ratings for a boxing event. Martinez can get his 3-5 Mills and get his ass handed to him or he can go fight Golovkin for 1Milll tops and still get his ass handed to him!
This is a no brainer, Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in the US, Martinez is just trying to find a way to get out of the fight, after all the shit he talked!
