Bradley or D.Garcia - who's more overrated?

He took more punches than a fighter with good footwork and head movement would have. For example, Judah and Alexander didn't take that much punishment (not that they could have), because they moved around well, something D.Garcia can't do. I do know they're different match-ups stylistically and all that, but you get my point.Comment

Neither are overrated. With the exception of the Pac robbery both fighters have beaten top opposition. A year ago I would have said Garcia but that guy just continues to find ways to win. That has to be respected.Comment

Both fighters are every bit as good as people think they are and they have proven it in the ring. You can talk about Bradley's disputed victories all you want, but the truth is every fighter gets what one would consider a gift decision every once in a while (Pacquaio has three against Marquez; De La Hoya received gifts against Pernell Whitaker, Ike Quartey and Felix Sturm). That doesn't mean they aren't good or great fighters. Bradley has defeated every fighter he has faced and he has faced some really good fighters. I think he is capable of beating anyone in the welterweight division except Mayweather. It's only a matter of time before these two ridiculously overrated fighters are debunked. Both are solid but lack that world class talent.
Bradley's a good athlete and has great heart/determination, he's a decent boxer as well (nothing more than decent), but he's not an elite fighter. It won't be long before he gets his first loss on paper, he's already got 2 (one against a B level fighter with little talent), just not officially.
D.Garcia's got good power and a great chin, but he's not a naturally gifted boxer. He's slow, flat-footed, got no head movement and lacks versatility. His footwork and movement in general just isn't good enough.
I'm not saying these guys are bad fighters, but they're nowhere near as good people think imo. Especially D.Garcia, who I feel is the more overrated out of the two.
Say what you want about Danny Garcia, but the truth is he has beaten every fighter he has faced, including those he was expected to lose against (Khan and Matthysse). He is the best fighter in the 140 pound division without dispute. I have no idea how he would do against the top 147-pounders, but I think he is at least capable of competing with the best in the division. Both fighters deserve all the accolades they are getting and more.Comment

????
I would never deny the upset, but a close, competitive win over Lucas Matthysse can't compare to a close, competitive win over JMM or a complete outclassing of Nonito Donaire.Comment

Sure you can. Danny was the underdog big time. Anyone with any sense knows Bradley/Marquez and Nonito/Rigo were pick em fights.Comment
