The KO punch came after the bell. It was thrown in a barrage if punches and in the heat of the moment. Practically anything they decide is fine with me, as long as it's not a DQ. Mendez deserves a rematch.

Frankly, I'm morally okay with the KO. Argenis had his hands up and was defending himself. It's not like he dropped his guard when the bell rang and Rances sucker-punched him. One second earlier and we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I hope Barthelemy returns the same way. I've never seen him so good. Mendez was completely in over his head.

Great article, I couldn't agree more. I feel bad for Barthelemy because it looked like he was on his way to winning with a dominant performance. I like Mendez but this looks like a blessing for him.
