TR seems to be following a new model with HBO. Invest in foreign fighters (otice how many olympians from foreign countries Bob has signed) with built in ethnic fanbases. THey tend to wotrk for less.

HBO pays GGG roughly 1/2 or 1/3 that SHowtime pays Broner for similar ratings. Can't argue with that.

I think TR is out of the "star" business for now until they can develop their young guys like Verdejo.

They do have Mikey Garcia and Rigo that are excellent fighters but with no following. Donaire was rising but Rigo de-railed him

Why would I need to make an excuse when Pacquiao clearly won the fight?

If he lost then I would need excuses.

I don't know how you could score this fight for Bradley. Pacquiao outboxed him easily. He was landing on Bradley and Bradley was landing nothing.

Honestly, rewatching the fight a month or two ago, the championship rounds weren't even as favored for Bradley as I originally thought. Bradley did better, but it's no sure thing that he won them all. Such a horrid "decision."

I like both fighters, but I would hope a Bradley rematch brought some fire out of Pac. You were robbed against this man, get angry, Manny!

Don't sleep on their young talent like Lomanchenko and Verdejo and He also has Zou.

Arum/TR are exceptionally good at building strong "local" fanbases for young prospects with the exception of the black urban community which Bob himself has said he doesn't really know how to market fighters in these areas.

He tried to make nonito and juanma the next manny and cotto but those failed to a degree but he still made money.

You are right Mikey has a good fanbase that supports him well.

Bob Arum is the one preventing this fight, I thought his master plan is Pac-Provo and Bradley-Marquez 2 which will really pissed off every boxing fan, with the high possibility of Bradley beating Marquez again, a Pacman-Bradley rematch in late 2014 will sell more with Arum's final fight contract with Manny, and Bradley has to suffer with rematches in 2014.

Manny fights Bradley. Revenge angle. Considered the #2/3 WW in the world, depending on who you ask. Wins, sky rockets back to truly elite status.

Not a fight I would super look toward, I tend to think it will be similar except maybe even less action (I would actually be very surprised if it was better than the first fight).

Still it is a solid choice given the options and Manny can right that wrong, plus Manny should still stand a good chance of winning.

I didn't exactly want to pay to see Bradley get his ass kicked and embarrassed again but it must be done just to get him out of the way. I will be rooting for a destruction this time around.

interesting point but why would manny beating tim skyrocket given what happened in the first fight? the same people already factored in manny beating tim but being robbed into their rankings.

The revenge angle would make sense if most fans thought manny had actually lost. WHo is he getting revenge on-CJ ross and duane ford?

I think your point about "taking unnecessary punishment" could be the reason most manny fans are arguing for a tim rematch now.

I forgot of Lomachenko, depends how he does with Salido he might go straight up in the ranks. Verdejo has a long way to go. Zou will get fans just by default.
