The funny thing is bradley was doing better when he hurt his ankle.

It's because Bradley went in defense/retreat mode, and by better you mean he got rocked less.

Bradley with two good feet gets beat from pillar to post, like the Provodnikov fight, due to his tendencies to stand his ground.
