    Teddy Atlas

Can anyone stand Teddy's fight commentary? I didn't mind it years ago when I first started watching boxing but I just watched the Mendez - Barthelemy fight and his none stop waffling has left me in a serious state of irritation. It almost makes the fight unwatchable. Thank god it only lasted two rounds.

I like Teddy, but he's just too much sometimes. He's become a caricature of himself. Loves the spotlight. lol

        He's awful.

The ratings for Friday Night Fights would improve if ESPN replaced Teddy with a more intelligent boxing trainer like Naazim Richardson or John Skully.

He doesnt bother me as much as max kellerman,, both have the flair for the dramatic statements, but at least teddy knows the nuances of the game

Teddy can be annoying, but this is TV. People want to be entertained, not necessarily educated. Otherwise, Rigo would be a star.

I like him. He is passionate about the sport, and the wellbeing of the fighters.
I wish there were more people like him in the sport shining a bright inquisitive light on the shady underbelly.

Love him; he's my favorite boxing announcer on TV. He's passionate, he's been around the block and knows the sport. I almost always agree with his scorecards and he doesn't get enough respect from fans.

Few years ago, David Lemieux knocked out Elvin Ayala on FNF. Teddy, calling the fight, pointed out everything Lemieux was doing wrong and basically called him a hype job with a big punch who wouldn't last if he stepped up, and everyone on NSB was calling Teddy a hater and saying he was full of ****.

                  But he was right. 100%.

Atlas is a G. Certified one at that. He has forgotten more about boxing than you have ever learnt. If you wanna identify a boxing commentator who shouldn't be one then look no further than showtimes ranallo.
