    • Damn this argument is still going...let's stop for a minute - I don't see people defending him, clearly he would have been better off not saying it, but I think this debate is more focused on why he said it (in the situation he said it, in Russia, where it is acceptable vocabulary) - he didn't say it in USA (or am I wrong?) As I say, the debate here is not defending or saying he did nothing wrong, simply pointing out due to his upbringing and the context it is not conclusive proof that he is a racist. I am impartial in this and I don't really care either way, but I can understand why he may have said it. At the same time, I fully understand why the 'pureblood' thing in particular could be seen as racist, that was probably a really crude use of wording...

As others have said, B-hop made a racist remark in a multicultural society where it is not or much less acceptable, and was he hounded? I don't believe so...

      • If your getting your panties in a bunch about him using the word negro.
Why are you not jumping up and down, crying racism as Maidana is called and his nicname is chino. Same thing, common name used is sth america if you are asian looking. Doesn't matter what region of asian your from it's still chino.

Kovalev could come out right now and say he wants to hang his next black opponent, and these cowards would say "it's ok, they hang black people in his country all the time". If you're black, you're the enemy.
Dude you are so right !!

                    • Damn people need to read what actually happened before jumping on to pull that race card **** he said nyegr while speaking russian which is russian for black person without having any derogatory connotation to it. Unlike the N word in english that who does have a very nasty past it just means black unlike the N word in the state which was something slavers used in a derogatory way to refer to their ****** different word different languages different meanings so chill the fk out. Same **** in spanish black people are negro white people are blanco neither of those terms are derogatory or insulting never have never will be.
