Now this is just dumb. Comparing Black Panthers with the KKK is like comparing the ****s with a biker gang. For one the Black Panthers were one of the most heavily investigated organizations in America. In fact a good number of its members were either undercover FBI agents or informants. So while some of it's members may have joined to show pride in their culture, the U.S. government didn't see it that way. Now the KKK on the other terrorized black people throughout much of the south immediately after the civil war all the way to the 1960s. Ever heard of Jim Crow laws?
