Damn this argument is still going...let's stop for a minute - I don't see people defending him, clearly he would have been better off not saying it, but I think this debate is more focused on why he said it (in the situation he said it, in Russia, where it is acceptable vocabulary) - he didn't say it in USA (or am I wrong?) As I say, the debate here is not defending or saying he did nothing wrong, simply pointing out due to his upbringing and the context it is not conclusive proof that he is a racist. I am impartial in this and I don't really care either way, but I can understand why he may have said it. At the same time, I fully understand why the 'pureblood' thing in particular could be seen as racist, that was probably a really crude use of wording...
