MANY MANY languages, don't call blacks 'black', but Negro or Negroid. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Russian.

Negro is a scientific term, it's not racist. The other form is racist.
Smh negro is not a scientific term. Seriously shut up.

Okay. So lets say he's racist..... What do you suppose we should do? Boycott his political campaign? Oh wait...... He's a boxer

What about Adonis, Murray, or all of the other....... You know, criminals in boxing

And you don't know it's not a personal relationship, JDJ speaks very highly of Kovalev and if he was racist, like I said.... Why not train with Fredy Roach? Hell roach as a trainer even matches his style as a fighter!

Nope, but ppl like u should stop trying to defend him. If he's racist, he's racist. This is boxing. He's obviously a villain character. It works for him. Stop slobbing his knob.

I could name plenty of boxers if they did the same thing would set off a 100 pages of hate. I know he's the flavor of the month but lets not be hypocritical of his antics in the ring.
Oh lord... kovalev and sillakh had real tension coming in and I could name plenty loved boxers who taunted and over hurt opponents ...how about dancing or jumping up and down after knocking someone out it's how the game goes ... it's not like he didn't come over to talk to him ... **** is a all happens split second after you drop someone ... its all a intimidating factor ... dancing after ko of a small cab driver that's shameful tho ...kovalev stuck his head out telling people to get up really? We have problem with that..This is a violent sport don't take every line a fighter say or a action to the heart

I'm not defending him, I'm just saying I don't care if he's racist, gay or transexual. And I'm also saying that he might not even be racist. This is boxing and the rest of your post is what everyone else should feel like too.

A lot of times translations aren't accurate and a lot of words, phrases, or expressions are different in other languages. Kovalev has never shown any signs of being a racist but he has shown signs of being a great fighter. I think that this is all either a misunderstanding or someone is just trying to kick a little dirt on Kovalev's image.

I'm not upset at all. It's his opinion. It seems like a pretty negative one about blacks but so what? He's a boxer. But u have been defending consistently in both threads. Lol. If u think he did nothing wrk why are u going so hard?

KOvalevs got the whole division shook and now people are trying to bring something out of his personal life as if it's going to kick him out of boxing or something.

Just like people were trying to do with Adonis when he burst onto the scene!

Why not? Not everyone is as level-headed as you who agree that this shouldn't even matter when it comes to boxing. I did the same thing with Adonis.

You got guys like Dirk who think he should disappear from boxing for his comments, that's why I'm "defending" him

Celebrating a victory and taunting is two different things. Boxing is a violent sport... Really??? I did not know that. Please tell me what the tension was between him and Sillakh and how was it different than any other tension in a boxing match. Don't need to get uptight because I had an opinion about a fighter.
