When I said this fight's all wrong for Manny, I'm talking about future ramifications for his career.

He fights Prov, takes that many more years off his body, and he still has to fight a Bradley, POTENTIALLY a Floyd.

I don't want him softened up that much more for those guys.
Provodnikov is big and strong, and yes, he will surely land punches and possibly do damage to Pacquiao at one point or another. No. He isn't somebody Pacquiao should be facing to begin with, but Manny is with Uncle Bob aka Baby Satan.

Pacquiao will do what he must and do what he will and win this fight, if he has to - you're absolutely over sensationalizing how much of a toll might be incurred on Pacquiao in the first place.

I'm not. Pac is old as hell, and doesn't need to take this fight, at all. He needs to fight Bradley, and wait for Floyd. That's all that's left for his career.

Fights like this, end up back firing big time.

I'll bump this thread after they get done fighting. And yes, Pac will most likely end up schooling Prov, but he will take damage, bet that.

And what's with the name calling? Calm your ****.
        How do you figure that??

Erik Morales was supposed to be put in a body bag after his fight with Maidana.
Jhonny Gonzales was supposed to be a keep busy fight for Mares.
DLH was too big for Manny

He didn't follow, and was in position to land, at a higher rate than he normally is.

He also used that jab to get in.

He looked like a bootleg mini GGG in there.

I'll rewatch the fight just for you. I don't recall seeing this "vast improvement" but being the student of the game I am I'll never assume I didn't miss something isolated or something comprehensive depending on where I might have been placing my emphasis. There's a reason nobody has ever completely mastered this stuff. Human senses aren't capable of processing all the information efficiently enough. I've watched certain fights twenty and thirty and forty times. We'll see about you, Mr.

              Like your determination.

Doing that currently. Don't you worry.

I GOT to see this. It would be something pretty remarkable if Provodnikov miraculously improved the way you're describing. That's not at all what I remember. I'm a sportsman tho. To the fullest.

                    It's quite apparent that YDKSAB.

Bradley is the LAST guy Pacquiao needs to fight, he's ALL wrong for him. Unlike Ruslan, Bradley is an *intelligent* fighter who will surely learn from his previous encounter with Pacquiao and improve upon that performance. It was a close fight last time. Next time Bradley will beat him again but leave little doubt.

Ruslan is the type of fighter Pacquaio has traditionally looked good against - come forward face first, no jab, suspect defense - which is why this fight is going to get made.

I agree, and have said this from the time that Provodnikov was announced as a potential opponent. There Is no upside for Pacquiao. He has nothing to gain and everything to lose.
