I have the feeling something weird is going to happen with this fight. Australians have a reputation for being corrupt in boxing.

I wonder if they broke even, after all world revenue I reckon they did.the profit must have been marginal, that's assuming their was one.

The bid can't be half as big next time surely, otherwise they generally don't care about profit at this stage and are just using Wlad's name to out themselves on the map for future upcoming fights they can make a profit on !

It seems bizarre though,I don't know what to make of all this.

If the fight happens in Australia , I want Klitschko to knock out Leapai inside 4 rounds / as quick as possible :

round 1 : quick Jabs + smart pressure + Analysis of Leapai's game

round 2 : quick jabs + quick combos + first soft right hands

round 3 : powerful Jabs + light hooks + decent straight right hands

round 4 : terrific Jabs + massive left hook + devastating straight right Hands

If that arrogant Leapai doesn't wanna fight in Marche then K2 promotions should find an arrangement with the WBO to let them fight against another Opponent.

It is deeply bizarre - I could perhaps understand it if they were doing the fight in Russia, but Australia ffs? - to get the European audience live they'd have to do it at breakfast time.

I don't know - there's just something deeply fishy about these bids - money laundering p'haps? - tho I'm sure there's banks who already do that job with far less hassle in Russia.

I assume he's a billionaire...or at least had it in with billionaires

Hryunov told German reporters yesterday that he wanted to stage the Leapai fight in either Germany or Australia. Another Russian billionaire David Traktovenko, owner of the Sydney FC football club, has also expressed an interest in the fight.

I remember when Sonny Boy got his title fight stopped early so Botha wouldn't KO him. Then they said it was always a ten rounder... despite all the promotional posters saying otherwise

don't even know who Leapai is, gotta watch some fights of his
as it is, don't expect he has any chance, but whatever
Wlad needs to go for 3-4 fights this yr, better he stays busy
wanna see him get Vit's belt back under Klit control this yr
if he's gotta take care of mandatories first, so be it
