Comments Thread For: Hryunov Vows To Shock Kitschko's Team at Purse Bid

Russian promoter Vladimir Hryunov has promised to beat any and all offers, going full force to secure the promotional rights to the mandatory heavyweight showdown between WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko and Australian challenger Alex Leapai. The Aussie boxer has already been offered over seven figures by Klitschko's team. But, the boxer's trainer and agent, Noel Thornberry, says Hryunov's promise is likely going to send the fight to a purse bid.

Perhaps he should consult someone like Bob Arum, Don King or even one of the new breed for advice, I think he needs it especially If he ends up handing Leapai a million or two...
I mean handing that much cash to him after what has he done in the division?
The guy got smashed by Kevin Johnson!!

This is getting stinky in here.

Giving more tha 1 Million Dollars to Leapai is a crime.

I guess Hryunov's message is the following : " I got you on my sight Wlad"
