I don't think that 7 days constitutes that "Manny must have been taking drugs" .... Floyd and Manny probably should have split the difference to somewhere like 17 days and we would have had a fight.

Floyd was just too concerned about ending up looking like Hatton or Cotto and consequently losing his precious "0"
There was no 7 day difference pac wanted a 30 day cut off floyd gave a 14 day cut off which was rejected. And if pac was with ost, why did it take him almost 6 years to use it before a fight? Also absent being present and no positve test no one can say he is using. But there are crumbs to give a fighter a guilty look. Like moving up in wt and still keeping your ko power. And many boxers admitted to using peds and never failed a pre or post test.

Everything was agreed upon, 8oz gloves (favoring Pacquiao) ring size, ring entrance, 50/50 split, MGM grand arena, HBO, 10 million dollar/lbs overweight fee, everything, except the drug testing.

And don't act like it somehow became about the drug testing. Before any of the above mentioned negotiations took place, Mayweather clearly stated that he wanted OST for the fight. There were interviews with both Roach and Koncz regarding this and both said in separate statements that they had absolutely no problem with OST testing. They both laughed at it, but then when it came time to sign on the dotted line they refused.

If you're going to talk about the 1st round of negotiations at least tell the entire story.
Again another person who read a lem from ring magazine article and took it to heart. Funny the only quotes you guys can find are all originating from Lem's article..just like I told the other person who can't put two and two together..Lem works for Oscar, who owns what that represents who? Point made. Funny HBO had a completely different story with facts completely opposite of what you guys are spewing. Matter of fact dude from Fight Hype that hates Pacquaio even has different facts than you guys.

Using that moving up in weight and keeping your power is just nonsense..flat out absolute nonsense that has been broken down by guys like Roy Jones over and over again.

Thank you your post negates the need for me to post a reply to turnedup. Pac fans kill me trying to change documented history. One of the arguments from 09 was pac got everything he wanted and would not agree to floyd's 1 request. And roach stated he is going to ask for ost we dont have a problem woth that. They thought floyd would agree to 30 days cutoff lol

Actually i'm a Floyd fan..but feel free to use google perhaps you can actually find a non Lem article that may enlighten you...I know it took me all of two seconds to find but I won't bother I recognize fanboys when I see them. I hate when ya'll make us fans look like ******s spewing bullshhh to suit your badgering of the man. Pacquaio is a great champion just because he's a possible opponent for Mayweather it seems ya'll act like Floyd's girlfriends and need to go into ****** troll mode.

No fighter ever moved up multiple wt classes and kept his power. No body not oscar, not shane not roy nobody. As a fighter moves up in wt his ko % drops this is rock solid . No way can you say absolute nonsense flat out. To do so you are ignoring history.

Are you saying that just because he works for Oscar he would be lying? Are you saying the direct quote from Koncz when he said
"Our reaction is, 'So what?' We know Manny doesn't take any illegal drugs or anything. And none of this is getting under Manny's skin or anything," "I'm here with Manny, and to him, it's like a joke. It's a laughing matter," "It's something foolish anyway. Why would we be concerned? We know he doesn't do any of that s**t."
                  isn't true?

Roach was video tapped by ring magazine and other outlets saying he wanted a 14 day cut off on the testing because Pacquiao would get weakened when blood was drawn and he didn't want to lose 2-3 days of intense training and sparring with him. He said that 2-3 days.
                  GTFOH

Yes i'm saying that what you are saying is bullshtttt and what Lem said in his article is bullshtttt. Plain and simple. Every other reputable boxing source has just about complete counter facts to Lem's article. The ring is the same that put Khan at #2 with one shoddy close win over Julio Diaz..so yeah they say and do what they want. Mosley got an 18 day cut off...here is a newsflash people...steroid don't work that fast!!!!! If you took a steroid in that window you'd still test positive on an OST standard test!!! No masking agent on earth would be able to mask a steroid in 14-18 days..a masking agent for steroid takes a little over a month to really kick in and it's a regimented process!! Try to educate yourself a bit, visit a european cycling forum sometime those guys know everything about roid and masking..it's very useful. I love Floyd but he's got some of ya'll out here looking like straight up fools in his defense. The man is perfectly capable of defending himself..the nonstop anti pacquaio onslaught is absolutely disgusting and does Floyd no justice at all..Like seriously if you really support FLOYD st-fu and avoid a pacquaio thread with the bullshhh from time to time.

                      Oh, please.

A so-called fan made blog on Yahoo! Voices exposes Floyd's drug testing results for all the world to see? Say it ain't so!!!

She even references the "speculative" Thomas Hauser article which lead to nowhere.

Max Boxing's Dougie Fischer's (non- Mayweather fan) response:

"I don’t have any opinion on the Mayweather rumor, because that’s all it is. And that’s how Hauser presented it in part one of his article:

“On May 20, 2012, a rumor filtered through the drug-testing community that Mayweather had tested positive on three occasions for an illegal performance-enhancing drug.”

Hauser goes into more hearsay details, but the bottom line for me is that he has no direct source. Nobody – named or unnamed – from USADA or the Nevada State Athletic Commission (or elsewhere) has gone on record to verify the rumor.

I’m not going to comment, write or otherwise state an opinion on Mayweather and PEDs until there is reliable, concrete proof that he did indeed fail a test (or tests) for a banned performance-enhancing substance(s).

Now I know there are tribal-minded Twitter-based blogger freaks out there who view Golden Boy as the ultimate “Evil Empire” and will assume that they’ve got me “in check” if I’m not actively trying to uncover “the truth” of the Mayweather rumor. Give it rest, you dips__ts. Yeah, I’m a journalist (one of the few covering boxing who actually has ethics), but I never claimed to be a muckraker. I don’t have the time or interest to chase after shadows."
