Are you ok with Golovkin wanting smaller guys like Floyd?

But I'm one of those who reckon that Ward (as a true pound-for-pounder) has to move at 175 and meet fighters of his size there... Pascal, Bute, Adonis, Kovalev (especially him...)... I'm not interested in Ward calling smaller guys (such as Floyd, GGG, Chavez Jr.)
Well it's a little hypocritical when Ward is asked to do it and not Golovkin. They both mentioned fighting Mayweather who is smaller, so what's good for one is good for the other.

that's what am talking about. people don't even recognize what they're typing for.

"smaller" Chavez jr is bigger than Ward. Golovkin is also legit super middleweight.

The only problem - both are pusies fighting Ward.
        Since when?

He's not all that big. He's gotten bigger, yes. He just came into his training camp at 167.

I'm not interested in Golovkin per se (I said here I'm not a fan! And I'm not from Russia or the former Soviet Block)... I only want to see how the "clash" between the "Russian school" and the various American schools of boxing really goes in the near future -- but it's difficult, because the U.S. fighters avoid such "clashes"...

As for Chavez Jr.: the guy is tall, but he started winning belts at the Jr Middleweight... Ward, instead, started by winning the Olympics directly at the Light Heavyweight...

As about Ward: are you able to enlighten me on why isn't he moving at the 175? (he walks around 185 in the fight night, isn't he?)

I don't think he's been anywhere near that fight night. He's not a huge SMW. Many of these guys fought higher in the amateurs because of same day weighin. Bradley for example fought at 152, which translates to a good size but not huge pro 140er fight night.

Are you kidding me? You're maybe used with such ******ities -- as your fighters (Ward, B-Hop) "called" Floyd... The same goes for Golovkin... Floyd has no business in fighting again at 154 -- not at his age...

                  • I noticed that there's a lot of people that don't know how to read. Golovkin never said that he doesn't want to face Ward and the fight is not even in discussion nor has it been offered to him in any way, shape, or form. All Golovkin said was that he is focused on his upcoming fight, which is normal and it's good that he's focused on his opponent. He also stated that the fight is a realistic possibility meaning he does want to fight Ward. Golovkin is at 160 right now and Ward is at 168, but when the fight does become a serious discussion, it's not guna be Golovkin that circles around the other side of the ring.

I intentionally followed Ward's weight in the fight night -- he was reported walking 182-185... The one who doesn't face any problems in making weight at 168 is Froch -- he doesn't fluctuate...

(to rehydrate from 168 to 185 is 17lb, right? Canelo rehydrated at 172lb for the Trout fight -- this is 18lb...)
