If Golovkin's fans think he's that good what's the problem with him moving up and facing Ward? Especially if they're saying everyone is avoiding him at MW. I doubt any of them had a problem when he said Mayweather was his dream fight. In fact, some of them are the same ones saying Ward need to move up and face stiffer competition.

I don't have a problem with him waiting to fight Ward but he should be matching up with better MW contenders than he's fighting now. Then again if HBO is paying him to fight bums why not take the money and keep fighting bums.
I'm not one of Golovkin's fans and I don't think he can beat Ward...
But I'm one of those who reckon that Ward (as a true pound-for-pounder) has to move at 175 and meet fighters of his size there... Pascal, Bute, Adonis, Kovalev (especially him...)... I'm not interested in Ward calling smaller guys (such as Floyd, GGG, Chavez Jr.)

I do think he will go after Ward and build himself up over a years time to be solid at 165lbs. He will give away some weight at 168 but I think he'll bring his punch with him. Either way I prefer watching him as opposed to Strum and Gaele and all the other "swimmers" who can't get out of the pool. Their boring, he isn't!

This appears to be the plan - do what is possible at MW then a move up to 168. Depending on how Maravilla jumps we might see Golovkin move up to SMW by the end of 2014, with the possibility of Ward in mid-late 2015.

I'm guessing Golovkin, who fights a middling MW average of about 168-70 ain't gonna go all that much bigger as a super-middle - perhaps 175 or so - that's about as much as his frame would hold without effecting his style IMO.

It'd depend on what's available of course but I can see Bika in the plans and Froch

            Ward being HBO's employee.

HBO is pumping up lowskilled brawlers like Golovkin, Rios, Chavez jr. etc.

So he can't say what he really thinks or want.

Uh ok. As long as you feel it'll take a #2 p4per one division up to expose him, you're a GGG fan, so I'll let you off the hook for the jibberish. I suppose anyone's welcome on the GGG train, even if they aint got much to add.

Actually you said "Ward needs to move to 175 to meet fighters his size there " in perfect English. I'm only going by what you said.

that's what am talking about. people don't even recognize what they're typing for.

"smaller" Chavez jr is bigger than Ward.
Smaller Chavez wasn't able to make 168 last time.

Golovkin is also legit super middleweight.

The only problem - both are pusies fighting Ward.

I am drunk at this point (having crossed the date line)..

But the only thing that GGGs gonna get 'exposed' as is being a really, really good fighter.

Would he lose to Ward ? - probably IMO, but if you call that being exposed you're just a .....

                      Happy new year all.
