But I'm one of those who reckon that Ward (as a true pound-for-pounder) has to move at 175 and meet fighters of his size there... Pascal, Bute, Adonis, Kovalev (especially him...)... I'm not interested in Ward calling smaller guys (such as Floyd, GGG, Chavez Jr.)

that's what am talking about. people don't even recognize what they're typing for.
"smaller" Chavez jr is bigger than Ward. Golovkin is also legit super middleweight.
The only problem - both are pusies fighting Ward.

As for Chavez Jr.: the guy is tall, but he started winning belts at the Jr Middleweight... Ward, instead, started by winning the Olympics directly at the Light Heavyweight...
As about Ward: are you able to enlighten me on why isn't he moving at the 175? (he walks around 185 in the fight night, isn't he?)Last edited by MDPopescu; 12-31-2013, 09:21 PM.

I noticed that there's a lot of people that don't know how to read. Golovkin never said that he doesn't want to face Ward and the fight is not even in discussion nor has it been offered to him in any way, shape, or form. All Golovkin said was that he is focused on his upcoming fight, which is normal and it's good that he's focused on his opponent. He also stated that the fight is a realistic possibility meaning he does want to fight Ward. Golovkin is at 160 right now and Ward is at 168, but when the fight does become a serious discussion, it's not guna be Golovkin that circles around the other side of the ring.

(to rehydrate from 168 to 185 is 17lb, right? Canelo rehydrated at 172lb for the Trout fight -- this is 18lb...)Last edited by MDPopescu; 12-31-2013, 09:54 PM.
