i disagree with a lot here because dibella and taylor already both of them, they didnt want the winky fight.

and it is just plain wrong to call winky a ***** cause man he stood right in front of trinidad. hes a ***** cause he didnt let trinidad hit him huh. thats just dumb man think about it your gone cover up if you got trinidad hitting you. before the fight everyone said winky would run and trinidad would break through his guard. winky came forward and trinidad couldnt break through that guard.

hopkins ran from trinidad a lot more than wright did. wright was there in front of him the whole time and trinidad couldnt do anything with him.

person or people that said wright isnt a big draw cause he aint got power is right thats a big part of it. but ray leonard didnt have power and he was a huge star. mosley was never a one punch ko guy, always a late round ko guy and he was a fairly big star. winky lacks power so what. at least he doesnt do like a lot of them and drain himself 30-40 pounds lighter to get big power. he fights at a weight class thats actually appropriate for him.

its the promoters job to get his fighter over as long as his fighter keeps winning. and winky has won and won big. he doesnt just clinch like ruiz and doesnt just run like spinks. so if shaw could promote worth a crap winky would be a real big star. people dont just up and quit their promoter out of nowhere usually so winky and shaw probably had problems for a little while now.

Ray Leonard has more power p4p than Wright, and beat way bigger names more often than Wright has. Plus Ray had a bigger audience in the 70's and 80's due to wider TV exposure.
