Anyway, there must have been some odd variable here because Wright has no reason to turn down fair terms. He's been looking for this opportunity for a long time now.

Winky may be one of the best fighters around but he is certainly one of the least marketable.He thinks he can ask for millions since he believes he is a superstar.Well, the thing is he is not.He belongs in the same category as Juan Manuel Marquez.Excellent fighters who cant sell fights because of their boring fighting styles.Comment

The reason Wright isn't popular like Tito is due to one simple fact: Wright shows no power. He is not a beatdown type of fighter, and he doesn't get hit a lot like Gatti to show his toughness.i cannot blame wright. look at how little shaw has done to promote such great talent. wright should be a bigger draw than he is since he got huge wins over mosley and trinidad. main events horribly mis managed one of the best fighters in boxing. good for wright.
Wright will never be a big draw, and I officially lay the blame on his shoulders for this fight not happening. Maybe it will happen in the future though.Comment
