i also said in another post that i believe both fighter are capable of stopping each other so it wouldnt matter to me if Cotto got stopped. Knocked out cold in the 5th i just dont see that happening.

if Martinez is healthy he probably will beat Cotto within 5. I know that sounds crazy but set look at some facts.

Martinez is a puncher. he's either KOing guys or being their faces into a blood pulp, just look at Chavez and Pavlik. his hand was broken pretty early against Murray so there is that but if his hand his broken he's going to tee off.

Cotto isn't a middleweight and let's be honest he isn't really even a junior middle either. even Roach said in the past he should be at 147.

Cotto gets hit a lot against southpaws. look at the Trout fight, or even go back to the Judah fight. if he gets hit like that against Martinez I don't see him being able to last.

Cotto isn't exactly prime anymore and he's taking a huge risk. if Martinez is shot than Cotto has a great chance to win.
