To this American's eyes Joe Gallagher and Rob McCracken are the best British trainers at the moment.

I would nominate Burns vs Beltran for Robbery of the Year.

Steve Cunningham and Malik Scott were not bottom of the barrell US heavies.

And who is at top of the barrell? Deontay "the can crusher" Wilder, whose handlers wouldn't put him in with either Chisora or Fury when they had the chance.

The best British boxer right now is carl froch, that should tell you something about the state of British boxing.

Cunningham isn't even a real hw, yet he rocked fury. Who is Malik Scott? American hw's aren't very good right now, but us still has more top boxers than most if not all nations. A top us hw would be arreola, and I'd pick him to KO fury in six or less.

How do you work that one out?

Japan has nothing higher than lightweight, that's 8 divisions gone. Mexico is somewhat the same although they have a much higher number of boxers. Fights from those countries don't get the coverage the ones from the UK do.

This is a low point for British boxing at the moment too, transitioning from one era to the next.

Put it this way, Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury would be favoured to beat every US boxer on the planet, how does that make you feel?

That's comical and far from the truth. Even Mayweather, as small as he is, could beat tyson fury.
