Truth be told that both Floyd and Manny take Money fights. Difference is Pacquiao avoided everyone that mattered at 147 and winners.
You make it difficult for anyone who actually is not new to the sport to even take you seriously. It's plain and simple really and if you are a veteran as you are insinuating then you would know that Floyd decided to retire when both Cotto and Margarito were at their prime. And that is why people think what they think. Also, you should know not to believe in triangle theories if you know so much about the sport. It does not work. Let's be real...no one takes away from the fact that Floyd is a great fighter but he was not always willing to fight the ones that actually were a decent threat...you know this and so does everyone else. Let's not kid ourselves.

They should do this in UK...

It will sell out in moments.

What, with a 5am start time? Difficult with the time zone. Also, what venue would they use? A stadium is out of the question, unless there is a retractable roof - Cardiff? Otherwise its the o2 or MEN (20-25k).

          Would Floyd risk it, too?

Bleh. A crappy fight through and through. I understand that he might be the best monetary option out there but it's really a lose-lose for Mayweather. Look bad and you'll never hear the end of it. Win impressively and no one cares. I guess that's been the story of his career anyway. I'd rather Maidana but that's not a fight that excites me either and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Sorry to break it to you but Arum didn't want Floyd to touch Cotto at 140 and both could have got it along with Ricky Hatton back then but Arum didn't want to make the De La Hoya fight for Mayweather so Floyd bounced from Top Rank. This is all documented. Floyd chased Oscar and Mosely to 147 as well. Cotto was at the Gatti fight, remember? He was also at the Bruseles fight ( Cotto friend and sparring partner). Floyd told Margarito to keep winning and next fight he lost to Paul Williams.

Seriously hoping Mayweather shatters Khan's dreams and signs to fight someone else. Khan would be left shrugging with no big payday and his shot at Alexanders belt gone. Not to mention the fact that if he does get a shot at Alexanders old belt, he has to face Porter who IMO will beat Khan.

What is this nonsense? No it doesn't. I'm a huge Mayweather fan but I don't let that affect my better judgement. Both fights are shams. Let's call it what it is and demand better match-ups
